Fireplace Tile Update
Laura brought some of the tiles for the fireplace and we loved them - they look very nice! Cost was almost $300, which is 1/10 of what it would have cost if bought normally. They went to the Motawi Sale and saved big. Might need to buy a few more, but shouldn't be more than $100.
Review Construction Mtg:
Small mtg. They found a cheaper compliant tub and it's on order. They repaired wires that they cut last week. JD had long mtg with K&L - they want to rescind agreement to put wires into electrical closet. They now say it's not part of scope. JD was going to get a bid for running phone lines into CH, but nothing happened. This has been very clear in OUR scope that it's there. It seems like they've decided it's too hard and so are saying it's not in scope. [[Elph]] will continue working on it. We can 'make do' with it, but it's less than ideal. East end was done better. 20 CAT 5.
Some vague discussion about "hardware" which might mean doorknobs and such. Might get heat on soon. Question to F&L - how much is CH insured for?

Results of Office Rental Survey
Two are spoken for: Melisa and Dale. Survey who is interested in third office. Four responded--all said "maybe." Kristin (may be moving), Alicia (one to two years), Eric (vampire hours/willing to share), Danny (a foot in the door/therapy/willing to share).

Discussion of whether to rent by the hour, or CH is the leasee in which case we need to adjust budget; if we don't have a tenant, then de facto it's a community office; don't rent the space to the community and then we can't rent to someone else and receive the income. No one come forward as a primary renter, so it will be a community office until someone steps forward, then it may change.

Proposal: Keep third office rented by CH committee for the community for first year; CH can sublet to individuals who need space but don't want to take responsibility for full lease. CH will pay the rental. Renegotiated after first year. We can, as the lessee, decide to allow the community to use the office, but change that if/when necessary.


Budget Review?
Tiles added. Also we need to add $2400 to our operating budget to cover the 3rd office rental.
Window treatments - budgeted $370 for 37 windows - cheap mini-blinds. Is this realistic? Did this include the offices? Melisa will research the blinds, with help from [[Rod]].
[[Elph]] will research the pool table costs. Who will take on the Kids room? - Proposed that we wait on the kid's room. We should get the parents involved. Kids should have some input too. Melisa will start the email conversation on go-parents, and will report back. Amy will look into furniture for Media Room. Talked about Instant Retail. Talk about exercise room, we need to find out the total space needed for universal. [[Elph]] wants us to go ahead and build it now, so we know. Becky will ask heather & adi if we can build it in their basement.

Yes, it can be built in our basement! if people want to use it while waiting
for the CH, that works too...if the Precor is also going to be purchased soon,
it too can reside in our basement...(we need the exercise!)

Cabinet Update
Things are up in the air with the cabinet maker. What is the timeframe? 8 days ago, Kirk said he would work to get more info from Chuck.
We've given them lots of feedback, but some still feel there are outstanding issues. [[Rod]] would like to see several options for countertops, corian, wood, granite, etc. But the larger issue is just making sure what it is we're getting. [[Elph]] emailed to JD during mtg asking him for details. Bottom line - want a final review before giving green light.


Office Policy
We just need to update the hours section. [[Rod]] will re-word it, send it out to community and make copies.
