Construction report
Mailboxes and cubbies may be able to fit in the same place. They were looking at the large size mailboxes (13" wide) and we are now looking at regular A size of 6.5" wide. That will allow us to fit the cubbies in as well. We will have a total of 40 US Postal boxes. We save about $1000 dollars. Cubbies are spec'd to go to the right of the us postal boxes

concrete pad for fireplace to be done in colored concrete
gas line for fireplace had not been planned - now fixed.
venting for fireplace had not been considered - now fixed.
we've been advised to check out gas fireplaces at the local place on Jackson - look for gas fireplaces that direct vent 27" deep and 58" wide

closet in childrens room - half of it will go to ceiling for furnace - half will stay at the five foot height. This will make it easier to build in that open space if we want in the future - make sure to check out heat venting in the room first

This is now (since yesterday morning) re-framed according to the above. I think the new "cubbyhole" space above the five-foot cabinet is neat and has interesting possibilities.

utility closet next to laundry room - ceiling will be raised to top, not dropped to 8 foot. - more space for storage.

laundry room - mechanical drawings did not get the number of units right - we want two sets of stackable wash/dry and one heavy duty washer. The specs have been corrected.

eves painting - has been put off to spring
final landscaping of common house area MAY be put off to spring

Tables have been ordered
Will be here in a few weeks. Store in [[Elph]]'s basement. Chairs need a 4 week delivery time - order in a few weeks.

Colors - no new news on colors

Sitting room meeting
It's on tues at 2 pm at Phoenix in Ypsi. [[Elph]] is going. Ted can go but was hoping [[Jenny]] could go in his place. Don't know who else can go. Laura? Ted will check with others.

Internal wall sound insallation
Melisa suggests putting more sound insulation in the walls between offices and guest room. And between laundry room and media room. Use sound deadening insulation - maybe extra dry wall?

The media/laundry wall is already framed for sound insulation, as is the wall between the kids room and the dining room. I don't see a need to isolate the guest room from offices myself--there's a whole hallway between them already.

Waiting room idea
Since there was concern about setting up the waiting room in the hallway. What if Melisa rented half the room for the cmty office? It's spec'd for multiple people using it - it's not yet rented... Seems to fit our plan of multiple use space for the western office.

Timing on completion of common house
Maybe move-in by xmas. John says 6 weeks after starting drywall
Question: Painting... Are they priming? Is there any part of Phoenix's job that get's held up by our painting schedule.
