Laundry Room Update
Most of the work is finished. We will keep the metal hanging rack
since it fits. Everyone needs to claim the detergents still on the
counter - Consider them up for grabs. Anything not labeled and put on
a shelf by the next work day will be disposed of. Emily will put sign
on the door explaining this as well.
As for the new washer, we know it doesn't work if the other machines
are running. On Monday, Emily will run a test to make sure it can
complete a cycle when the others are NOT working. Will call the
plumber after that. We suspect that the pipe is not the right size.
Will keep everyone up to date as we learn things.
Ted is making a step stool for project, is willing to donate it to the
laundry room - thanks Ted!
Garbage disposal
about $200 for new one, plus the labor of the plumber. John did seal
it, seems better.
Decision: we will wait until it either stops working or leaks alot
more before we replace it.
Doors -
We all agreed it was time to change the code. NEW DOOR CODE WILL BE
0704, Starting on Tuesday 5/12. Rachel will make sign for folks to
check email for new code. She will also learn how to do the new ones
and show us all at next mtg. Becky will send out a separate email
with the new door code.
Decision: we will replace the old keypads with the new ones that
relock. However, we will have to get a plate to cover the hole from
the existing ones. (the old ones are on the deadbolt, new ones are on
the handle. Budget will be a concern. We will wait till next reports
come out to verify money left (we spent alot on the work day) We will
begin replacing them as the budget allows.
Stereo Proposal
Decision: Yes, Tom can move the stereo to be by the computer. Keep
roku too if there are enough inputs, because some people really like
that.
Guest room billing
We need someone to take this on. Judith used to do it. Nobody on the
committee was excited about it, so we decided to do it during meetings
and just rotate it.
Vacuums
Concern was raised that the vacuums are not very good, and getting
heavy use. Especially because some people are taking them to use at
their own homes. Discussion on pros/cons of that. We don't want
everyone to have to run out and buy their own, but it is also true
that with such heavy use they won't last as long. So, we decided that
the newer vacuum is for the CH only. The older one can still be
borrowed. They will be labeled.
Cleaning Jobs
The descriptions are out of date, Emily will update them - thanks Emily!
Next agenda item: create a master maintenance list.
The new mini-jobs board is up with a list of the the young adults that
can be in the CH.
Next meeting is on 5/23 at 10am. we will try for a 2nd and 4th
saturday schedule. *****We now know this is memorial weekend, and
will change the date.
