2. Scheduling

Facilitation swap - Jillian will facilitate on May 18 since Elph can't make
it, Elph will facilitate on June 15 with Alicia. Jillian will have some
content on May 18 but Mary can facilitate that part.

Infoco meetings for the summer (our idea of staying with 4th Tuesdays does
not work in the summertime) and who is bringing content:

May 21 - Amy & Alicia
June 4 - Jillian & Sarah
July 23 - Elph
Aug 6 - Patti & Mary

3. "Formerly Known As Training" item next steps

Seemed like the community had a good discussion at the last meeting. Came
away with a sense that the community does value the time together and see
and value the many different ways and reasons we've spent extended time
together for these weekend gatherings - community building, skill building,
problem solving, etc.

Infoco had a lengthy discussion about how it should come back to the full
group. Came around to the idea that Process should:

1. Summarize what happened at the last community meeting - the feeling that
the group does value these different kinds of gatherings

2. Write up some of the keywords the group put forward at the community
meeting, on a piece of paper in front of the room as a reminder

3.Give names to the two main categories (that you come up with beforehand)
and write them up on a big piee of paper:

a) Problem solving/outside facilitation - for when we have a big issue and
we need help solving it, and it won't fit into our regular meeting process.

b) Everything else, covering skill building and community building as two of
the biggies. Infoco suggested calling it Skills and Thrills (?)

4. Suggest that money for (a), be looked on as one of the potential uses for
the Steering contingency fund. Any committee or person could suggest that we
need outside help on a topic. Process could help plan it. But the money
would be from steering's budget. So that way Process can plan to use its
budget money, on (b). If it turns out we need the steering money often, we
could increase Steering's contingency, or potentially create a fund for
outside facilitation needs, that rolls over every year, that is part of
Steering's budget.

5. Write up a sheet with info on the cost of various weekend events we have
done, as an FYI, and put that up on the wall.

6. Talk about the thought to continue the basic pattern, of planning one
event in the fall, likely one day, on (b). The thought is to vary the kinds
of things we do, to meet different needs. Will continue the practice of
asking the community for ideas each time and helping prioritize. See if
there are questions about this so far.

7. Move into a brainstorm on what folks would want to do in Fall 2009, and
then a quick dot storm if possible?

4. Tonite's topic

Amy and Alicia brought some ideas:
- a review of alternative meetings that have really worked and if there are
lessons we have learned to incorporate into our regular meetings
- return to meeting participants list, it keeps getting bumped off our
agenda
- open discussion about what skills people want to work on as facils and how
we can support that.

These are all good discussion ideas. We are almost out of time tonite.

I've noticed that lately we've spent more of our time working on the meeting
agendas with little time for our acticities/learning. I want to support how
we're spending our time, its important to do that agenda work. But we're not
getting to this other piece of continuing our learnings. What if we had a
little retreat instead? So people don't do work preparing something that we
never get to, which can be a let-down. Maybe acknowledge that and plan a
couple little events. Twice a year? If we planned them far enough ahead?

We could keep a list of topics to talk about at regular Infoco meetings in
case we don't have agendas to talk about. Keep them in the minutes. And
plan these little other events. If we planned it six months out. Patti's
family farm? Could plan some meals, share cooking. Invite Nancy from
Sunward? Could be really fun.

5. Next meeting - May 21.
