Tricky biz between Steering decision making vs the full community meeting.
Process chimed in on a recent email thread that all agenda items, whenever
possible, are to come to regular community meetings. We are constrained at
the moment by needing to work on the budget, but that will hopefully be
done soon, and, can probably also fit in additional items, especially if
they impact the budget. Also, the community meeting has the final say on
everything, regardless of if a committee or subcommittee is empowered or
not - if the issue is not so time sensitive that the discussion would be
moot, any committee's decision can be requested as an agenda item to come
to the full community meeting for discussion, to see if there is indeed
broad support or not.

Megan’s concerns about being required to mask up and wanting the whole
community to weigh in. She hadn’t been wearing one all this time (solo in
the room, scheduled times, sanitizing before and after) and it seems that
Steering changed the rule. (Steering had a short discussion about masks in
the CH on 10/24, decided to make this policy change quickly, and it was not
on the meeting agenda ahead of time that masks in the CH was going to be
discussed and potentially changed).
One option is for someone helping Megan write a proposal about what the
requirements would be to make an exception to wearing a mask

Steering Survey present to community at next meeting if time
