MONKEY Patti bringing chocolate for the two community meetings a month.
Re-MONKEY Sarah to share their handouts and powerpoint for the facilitation
training to the Process cmtee google folder in drive. (See 3/19/16 Process
minutes)(Feb 2016 Training)
ONGOING MONKEY: facilitators - when there’s a new proposal, or discussion
of any new idea, ask for questions, then ask for positive reflections about
it, before they go into discussion of concerns.
ONGOING MONKEY: Schedule a few refreshing policy moments:
Blocking - Refreshing policy moment but also more discussion probably.

Expectations for interacting with visitors (from New Member Packet)
Cleaning up after yourself in the CH / Expectations for teen and youth cmty
work, CH access, and supervision
Review of GO proposal and decision-making processes and revisiting decisions
Overview of BOA and how to search for agreements - demo
Minutes must be emailed to their minutes email address for the BOA and to
talk.
RE-MONKEY: Jillian will add to the BOA updater job description, tracking if
committees are sending in minutes, and if community meeting minutes are in
there too.
COOLER: Jillian will add Vice President (infoco convenor) and Secretary
(process convenor) into the mandate and email out new copy - BUT check
with Debbi first to makes sure it is correct, F&L may change this anyway.
Re-MONKEY even though DONE - had no response: Jillian will check in with
buildings, see if they would be willing to present to the community about
the committee structure they have been trying
Re-MONKEY: Jillian to ask Sarah and Mary if they would share the actual
google docs and slides of their consensus refresher presentation with
Process, not just the PDFs, if they are willing.
Re-MONKEY: Jillian will look up what we already do have in writing about
blocks and bring to next process meeting so we can shape a discussion
agenda item for an upcoming community meeting.
Re-MONKEY: process to modify our mandate template to add method of decision
making?
Re-MONKEY: Jillian or Patti to work on Google doc with the convenor
guidelines and committee effectiveness proposal agreement, to see how we
might want to modify and merge them.
Re-MONKEY: Yi-miau has been tracking the emails, will forward her emails
to the special addresses Willie will share. Yi-miau will search in gmail by
committee and then check against her spreadsheet. Yi-miau can fix date in
subject line if needed. Willie and Yi-miau to work together, maybe one
committee at a time, they will work together.
Re-MONKEY: Yi-miau will mark the expired agreements as expired.
MONKEY: If Process has any meeting supplies money left this year, move it
over to CH supplies.
MONKEY: Jillian will email talk about the 1/2/19 alt meeting to see if
anyone wants to lead it, if not cancel it.
MONKEY: Ask Skills and Thrills folks if they want to do any follow up on
Skills and Thrills for the Dec 5 2018 alt meeting. If not, on Dec 5 Process
could present the new draft Committee Effectiveness Proposal, could invite
committees like Buildings to discuss their structure.
3.Book of Agreements and missing minutes - any update from Yi-miau and
Willie
No updates as of now, Yi-miau will get back to us. She said Willie did
create an address for her to use.
4.Microphone update
CH committee has purchased a new set of microphones and a receiver, to use
in the game room. CH cmtee wrote an SOP (standard operating procedure)
about how to use it, and printed it and put it next to the receiver in the
game room.
The new game room microphones are in the office, same as the dining room
microphones, they are in a case labeled game room microphones.
MONKEY: If Process has any meeting supplies money left this year, move it
over to CH supplies.
5. Alternative meetings - 12/5/18 and 1/2/19
Looks like none of our alt meeting leaders are able to lead the 1/2/19
alternative meeting. Should we just cancel? Let’s ask “talk” first if
anyone has an idea they would like to do on Jan 2. If we don’t hear back by
say December, we can cancel.
MONKEY: Jillian will email talk about the 1/2/19 alt meeting to see if
anyone wants to lead it, if not cancel it.
MONKEY: Ask Skills and Thrills folks if they want to do any follow up on
Skills and Thrills for the Dec 5 2018 alt meeting. If not, Process could

6.Skills and Thrills, any next steps needed by Process?
Great that they are doing this work on teen discussion and events. Am a
little worried that not much information has gone out to “talk”. Emily said
she’d email out more info today, hopefully she will do so. Today she told
Mary King that these two things are happening:
Nov 3: Saturday morning meeting 10-12
Nov 4: Sunday afternoon basketball game 2:30-3:30
What is the Saturday morning meeting? Don’t know. Hopefully more info will
go out shortly.
7.Next steps on bringing back convenor guidelines and cmtee effectiveness
proposal - see discussion 7/16/18 GO meeting, and google doc
Spent a while going over the draft google doc of a new version of this
proposal, made some changes. Might be able to present it on Dec 5, if
Skills and Thrills folks don’t want it for follow up.
