MONKEYS:

ONGOING MONKEY:
Bringing chocolate for the two community meetings a month:
January: Gail
February: Elisha
March: Vasi
April: Jillian
May: Elisha (a week ahead remind her if possible)
June: Jillian
July: Vasi
August: Gail

COOLER: We could bring up at a community meeting, the idea of if we should
talk about how we each want to be contacted on community business, and see
what people think about it. So many options now for how to be contacted,
and some people seem to only use certain modes, would be good to know.
Maybe add it to contact sheet?
DONE: Jillian will preassign Kelly to Facilitator in Training.
DONE: Jillian will preassign F&L an alt meeting slot for summer (prefers
May).
DONE: Jillian will preassign Vasi to an alternative meeting.
DONE: Jillian preassign Sarah to an alt meeting (prefers August).
DONE: Gail will email - crc at gocoho.org to see if they all can continue
DONE: Jillian will preassign agenda planner to Helen
DONE: Jillian is contacting facilitators to see who can facilitate in the
summer.
DONE: Jillian will check in with Elisha about Process cmtee
DONE: Jillian will email the March workshop descriptions to our TS liaison
DONE: Jillian will send out another reminder to GO about the March
workshops with the registration link.
DONE: Vasi will email Catherine about continuing with Book of Agreements
content entry.
MONKEY: Gail will hand out the scheduling slips for the process roles in
the next work season. She may give them to Jillian to assign who will work
on what dates since Gail will have family in town and then will be
traveling.
MONKEY: Elisha will email or call Mary Thiefels Treetown Murals person
since Jillian has not had success in getting information from Mary.
MONKEY: Jillian will contact CH cmtee and ask them to review the Hot Tub
Trial Policies doc, and then contact Catherine to put in an updated
version.
MONKEY: Jillian will email the Workshop Operating Rule to Ted and see if
there's something that's changed or out of date (fees? Shop Manager?)
MONKEY: Jillian will ask Catherine to remove Trial Period from the Trail
Period Community Meeting Time change agreement,
http://www.gocoho.org/boa/?id=agreement&num=169
given the NOTE from Oct 2009 that we did agree as a community to this time.
Also, catherine should mark this agreement as being out of date, replaced
by the other.

Next Work Season

Clarified that Elph has a double shift in facilitating. He'd be happy to do
a double shift at meetings, meaning, solo facilitate.

MONKEY: Gail will hand out the scheduling slips for the process roles in
the next work season. She may give them to Jillian to assign who will work
on what dates since Gail will have family in town and then will be
traveling.

Ma'ikwe's Workshops at Sunward

Maikwe said they went well, would be nice to hear from Nicholas and Megan.
MONKEY: Jillian will ask Nicholas and Megan how they thought the workshops
went. One on communication, one on personal response to/engagement with
climate change issues.

Skills and Thrills

Jillian tried several times in Jan/Feb/March to get further information
from Mary Thiefels about doing a street mural, but has not received a
proposal yet. Jillian will forward the email she sent to Elisha.

MONKEY: Elisha will email or call Mary Thiefels Treetown Murals person
since Jillian has not had success in getting information from Mary.

Sunsetted agreements

A request came in to process cmtee to look at agreements in the Book of
Agreements that had sunset clases, and they emailed links to several.

In future, I wonder if there could be an automatic email warning that
agreements have expired. Also discussed perhaps good to avoid doing
agreements with sunset clauses when not needed. Sometimes they are very
useful, but they have to be brought back, hard to know the best mechanism
for that.

In general it seems to me that when there is an an expired trial period
agerement and the committee that brought it forward still exists, Process
should bring the expired agreement to their attention and ask them to bring
it forward (or just update it if they are empowered) so we can get an up to
date version in the BOA.

Work Skills Proposal - I don't see a sunset clause in there, I think its
ok.

Hot Tub Trial policies - this is under common house committee, which is an
empowered cmtee.
MONKEY: Jillian will contact CH cmtee and ask them to review the Hot Tub
Trial Policies doc, and then contact Catherine to put in an updated
version.

Workshop Operating Rules - I can't see that this has a sunset clause. Maybe
there is some aspect in it that is out of date or that's not happening? I
see there are specific fees in there.
MONKEY: Jillian will email the Workshop Operating Rule to Ted and see if
there's something that's changed or out of date (fees? Shop Manager?)

Trail Period Community Meeting Time change. Process had brought it back for
approval in Oct 2009 but the name of the proposal was never changed.
MONKEY: Jillian will ask Catherine to remove Trial Period from the Trail
Period Community Meeting Time change agreement, given the NOTE from Oct
2009 that we did agree as a community to this time.

BOUNCE
This was an effort to have several trial periods to see if there was a
different solution that would work out better than the status quo, and, the
proposal spelled out the fact that if it did not lead to any further
agreements or decisions, then what is called Proposal A, which is the
previous understanding from the GO site plan and programming book, would
still hold.

Since no additional proposal was agreed to, we are operating under the
original site plan understanding, which they called Proposal A, but what
was not done however, was any proposal to update the usage hours and
guidelines from the status quo of M-F 12-1 and 5-8, and S-S 12-8.:

"If Proposal A is implemented a proposal addressing long-term usage
guidleines should be brought forward no later than April 15, 2005."

There is no BOUNCE cmtee to ask to bring forward any proposal to update
these usage guidelines; however there is currently an effort happening for
an individual to gather information from all the households who face the
basketball court.
