Oct 1 meeting

Skills and Thrills planning:

Contacting Laird: Gail will contact about when he is getting into town and
when a meeting with Infoco can be scheduled; perhaps Friday, Nov. 8th, 7-9.

Childcare: Becky will email go-talk to see who might be interested.

Syndallas’s ideas: Tolkien’s class could do games with kids. Concern that
if the weather is not good, space is going to be a problem (may need
break-out space, etc.). Idea to have occupational therapist come to do
some stretching exercises, etc. Our concern is that all the time will be
needed during a one-day session to work on the issue at hand. Elisha will
ask Megan if she might be available to do two short movement breaks, one in
the morning and one in the afternoon. Becky will contact Syndallas about
our discussion of this. Syndallas will try to come to the next Process S&T
planning meeting (time to be determined) to discuss childrens’ activities
further.

Meals: Breakfast – the usual (juice, coffee, bagels, gluten free option,
cream cheese). Lunch - Star’s café doesn’t really have many gluten free
options. Elisha will contact Chela’s and Pilar’s for pricing for an
estimated 30 adults and 20 children; also, how far in advance they need an
order. Dinner – rotisserie chicken and potluck sides. Becky will get
pricing on rotisserie chickens – estimate of 6 adults per bird, and how far
in advance Arbor Farms needs the order.

Evening activity: will do straw poll at tomorrow’s cmty mtg – drum circle
or international dancing. Becky will follow up, depending on activity
chosen.

Next meeting: Tuesday, Nov. 5, 6:45-7:45, Sitting Room; Elisha checked and
this will not interfere with her work schedule. A meeting with Work and
possibly Infoco probably needed before that, once Jillian is back (Oct.
15), for further Skills and Thrills planning.
