We still need a convener (a request has been sent to a GO member), and one counted member. Cooks and cleaners are determined by the work survey. Gail will attend the allocation party on July 21.

Equipment purchases:
Debbi will order a 12 cup stainless steel rice cooker. Hope's rice cooker which has been on loan will be returned to her. Maggi's 10 cup rice cooker which she donated will serve as the back up cooker. We asked cooks to let us know how they felt about purchasing an electric griddle. There were few responses and they were divided between yes and no.'''-Kathy will send a message asking those interested to research possibilities (non-teflon preferred) and send a proposal to the meals committee.''-Cost is a consideration.

Endangered meals in August:
There were three meals without cleaners assigned at the end of August.'''-If cleaners did not come forward those meals would be cancelled. One meal (8/27) now has the needed cleaning crew; the meal of 8/28 still needs one cleaner;'''-'''-No cleaners have volunteered for 8/26.'''-Another request will be sent out at the end of July.
Meals workers who find they cannot do a shift during a work season are expected to find a swap for it.
