Also, a reminder that if someone wants to appreciate something but doesn't
know who did it, they can post a thank you note on the thank you board.

may be that someone will have other ideas or other presenters to suggest
even if they are not available.

MONKEY: Jillian will check in with Willie about when this fall might be a
good time for him to come to a Process meeting for a few minutes and update
us on how the BOA is going.

to CRC at a regular communty meeting in the fall.

FIC HOSTING

Joing hosting meeting with Sunward next Saturday 9/22 - potluck breakfast,
9:30, my house (unit 18 GO).

News flash - FIC may shift their meeting later by 1 day due to Laird's
travel schedule - so the agenda planning may be Tuesday 10/30 (instead of
10/29) and the meetings 10/31-11/1. So some folks would arrive Monday 10/29
instead of Sunday 10/28. FIC knows this means they will be on their own for
dinner 11/2.

MONKEY: Jillian will talk with Jenny Upton of FIC about how to do the GO
meal signups.

Housing - we should ask Mary about if she wants to line up some backup help
- Mary had hoped to be able to work on this before the fall since she is so
busy now - Syndallas is willing to help.
- Inventory of potential rooms could be done now - pitch the vision so
people are excited to host, these really cool and really experienced
community folks from around the country. Hosts don't have to provide any
food or transportation - just a place to sleep.
- add the available rooms to the google doc
- Jenny could then add names to the doc.

Here's the main page of links to the FIC meeting info:
https://sites.google.com/site/ficmtg2012/

(Syndallas can you get to that page, and then if you click on the Housing
assignments spreadsheet, can you get to and edit that document?)

SKILLS AND THRILLS

F&L is working on the content, contacting presenters.

Childcare - we don't know the specific schedule from F&L yet, but there
will be up to 8 hours of meetings over the two days. Likely in chuncks such
as Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon, and Sunday afternoon. (With
breakfast snacks Sat morning and lunch in between on Saturday.) Could we
send out a message now, that we'll be looking for two childcare providers
at $15/hour.
MONKEY: Becky will check in with Alan and will send out an email about
childcare for Nov 11-12

MONKEY: Syndallas will check in with Heather to see if Diwali will happen.
Hope so! We think it'd be perfect and we could help her with logistics, etc
- maybe even a bit of funding if that woud help and if F&L doesn't need all
the funds?
Do we want to do something in the evening, if it won't be Diwali?
Dancing and dessert potluck again? And and art table?
Idea - Offer people money toward dessert suppies - chocolate etc can be
expensive.

What about the idea to have a conversation about people's feelings about
money - finding a different way of talking about it - involving art? Like
that big great oak timeline art collage we did. Might be nice to do
something really different and fun. Syndallas will think about it.

BUDGET

Summary of the PRocess budget request for 2013 (same as the past several
years):
1. Archives: $100
2. Community Skills and Thrills weekend: $1800
3. Display materials: $100
4. Meeting supplies: $300
5. Member resources: $300

A bit more detailed info:

1. Archives, is for materials Gail may need - photo sleeves, binders, for
physical materials. Some years we spend the money, other years we don't,
good to have it budgeted if we need it.
2. Skills and Thrills - a fund to use for the community to get together and
learn, connect, and/or work on an issue. We used to have two funds - a
training weekend fund, and an emergency outside facilitation fund. The
emergency outside facilitation fund was eliminated, and the understanding
is that the training weekend fund is also our backup fund for outside
facilitation - if an urgent issue comes up and we need outside help, we
will use the training money for it.
Skills and Thrills budget breakdown: Basic breakdown of expenses, for one
8-hour day of training or facilitation (inclusive of the trainer's time in
prepping) is as follows:
$350 travel
$9000 presenter's fee (includes any prep)(we have also paid $1000, $700,
depends)
$240 childcare (with two workers at $15/hour)
$110 snacks/bagels/coffee
$200 subsidizing lunch
