Sorry for getting these out so late - thought I had already sent them!

CH meeting 6/23/12

Present: Jim, Julie, Becky, Heather

Reservation Online system
Debbi recommended the supersas. Debbi is supposed to be setting up a test system for the CH committee to try out. We can run reports off of it. Becky will contact Debbi to coordinate getting it ready.


Maintenance:
Washers. we've repaired the first one, and now the 2nd new one is having the same problem. Service has been called. One of the problems is that people are OVER STUFFING the washers. They should not be loaded more than 1/2 full with clothes. If you can't split your load into 2 machines, you will need to take them elsewhere.

We have the suggestion that when we re-do the Reserve Study, to change out all the scheduled replacements to accomodate commercial machines.

Light fixtures. Adi is suggesting that we replace some of the light fixtures to a style that is more commonly available. We agreed to start by having him swap out 5-6 fixtures this year. If we like it, we'll budget for next year.

Water spigot by hot tub. We agreed that we would like a plumber to come and figure out the problem, and give us an estimate of the cost to fix. Adi, can you schedule this? Thanks!

Convener. Becky has been convener for a very long time, and is ready to step down. Heather has agreed to be convener for 1 year. Thanks Heather! Jim will go back on Steering. Becky will stay on as counted member for 1 more work season.

TS Sharing
We had a casual discussion with Julie about what TS plan is about their CH, and whether or not the share is going to continue. Doesn't seem like their CH is going to happen any time soon. They currently pay $400 per month to us for sharing our CH. We are all feeling like this is too high. Julie will go TS steering committee to discuss. When this arrangement was made, we all thought that TS would be using our CH more. Perhaps it is time to take another look at this.

CH office
Melisa's lease is up this fall, and she would like to continue for another year. Unless we hear strong objections, we are planning to let her continue for another year.
