COOLER: Process will look at our agreements in the BOA and make a list
of what should be marked expired, and ask other committees to do so as
well.

MONKEY: At announcements at every meeting just remind people, about
writing thank-yous and about putting pet photos on the thank you
board. Also, a reminder that if someone wants to appreciate something
but doesn't know who did it, they can post a thank you note on the
thank you board.

COOLER: Jillian and Gail will write answers to the draft
self-evaluation questions. Then we'll pass it along to Infoco and let
them do it. And then see what we think of the questions and answers
and if we want to pass it along to other committees.

Ongoing MONKEY: set up at least one alternative meeting ahead of time:
each work season process could take ownership of one of the
alternative meetings and pull up some of these ideas that have come
our way - we would make the arrangements for someone to do a
presentation or lead the item that had been suggested.

MONKEY: In July Jillian will check in again with F&L about the latest
on their thoughts on doing a community weekend event in 2012 about
finance education, if the 2nd weekend in Nov. is good.

MONKEY: Jillian will alter the draft proposal about budget meeting
length and send it back out to Process.

MONKEY: Process send out a reminder to committees to bring their
monetary issues to plenary now - subject line - budget issues now!

MONKEY: Syndallas will email CRC and see if they can continue, and
will mention idea of 5 mins presentation at a fall community meeting
about who they are and what they do.

MONKEY: Process to ask Willie about somehow highlighting the FIC meals
so cooks who are willing to have larger meals, perhaps with a more
flexible "build your own" kind of base to help with the food allergies
and needs. (Vegan, GF, corn- or grain-free, etc)


Minutes:

Budget meeting length proposal

Discussion about what changes we should make to the proposal and bring
it back Monday. Tenor of the discussion seemed to be, schedule the 5
meetings for 90 minutes, but have the availability to go to 120 if
needed and not have to keep asking permission and not have to worry
about childcare leaving.    But also think it'd be good to have the
option to schedule it for 120 if really needed.

Need to look at how to deal with this is in the work credit alloted to
childcare, faciliation, and minutes, hm. Potential to add up to 2.5
more hours of meeting time over the season, but likely much less than
that...

This does need to come back to the community meeting on Monday in prep
for the work survey opening soon.

Current work season and next work season

Things going ok this season?

What worries me is facilitators and looking ahead to the fall season -
we have so many people involved in F&L issues. Hopefully more facils
will be able to swap back in - Sarah, Patti, Catherine. How about
Susan King? And others who used to facilitate in the past?

If we get some of Laird's time in return for FIC hosting, could make
part of that a facilitation training? And/or a consensus process
training? Re-up the energy again in learning about facilitation.
Re-energize the idea of facilitators being together and learning from
eachother. Scary for new people to just start.

And our setup of two facils for each meeting is good - a new person
can start with the simpler items and the partner the harder items etc.
The facilitator debriefs are great places to learn about facilitation
too.

CRC - Susan King, Kate Long, Alicia Wilson-Ahlmstrom. discussion that
new people may not even know they exist, or what they do.

Suggestion: to have CRC come to a community meeting again and just
intro who they are and what they do - go over the job description. We
do this periodically but I guess its been a little while and we have
plenty of new folks.

FIC hosting in Oct 2012
had a good meeting with Sunward. We're responsible for dinners, except
Wed. Sunward doing breakfasts and lunches and Wed dinner. Likely that
the meetings will be at Sunward CH since they have multiple meeting
spaces and its likely FIC could just leave their stuff there the whole
week.

Can Willie highlight the dates in the calendar so when the signup goes
up? Head cooks willing to take a     somewhat bigger dinner, and one that
might need a few more iterations than usual (vegan, GF, etc) - "build
your own" kinds of meals tend to work well. And we'll see if we can
get an extra FIC person for a cook and a cleaner.

Sunday Monday Tuesday Thursday - need to make that happen.

Could let TS know that those will be bigger meals. And about the
community movie nights. On a social level.

Discussion about TS and Meals and work. More ideas about how can TS
contribute and yet not create stress on either side. Where TS doesn't
have to agree as a whole to something but to create avenues for
individuals to come forward.

Seems like every work season there are some meals that might be cut if
we can't get enough people. Ask TS - would you like to take this meal.

And to remember to ask TS when you need a swap.
