2. MONKEYS:

COOLER: Process will look at our agreements in the BOA and make a list
of what should be marked expired, and ask other committees to do so as
well.

MONKEY: At announcements at every meeting just remind people, about
writing thank-yous and about putting pet photos on the thank you
board. Also, a reminder that if someone wants to appreciate something
but doesn't know who did it, they can post a thank you note on the
thank you board.

COOLER: Jillian and Gail will write answers to the draft
self-evaluation questions. Then we'll pass it along to Infoco and let
them do it. And then see what we think of the questions and answers
and if we want to pass it along to other committees.

Ongoing MONKEY: set up at least one alternative meeting ahead of time:
each work season process could take ownership of one of the
alternative meetings and pull up some of these ideas that have come
our way - we would make the arrangements for someone to do a
presentation or lead the item that had been suggested.

COOLER: Discuss if we want to bring a proposal to make the budget
meetings back to 2 hours instead of90 minutes.

MONKEY: In JUNE Jillian will check in again with F&L about the latest
on their thoughts on doing a community weekend event in 2012 about
finance education, if the 2nd weekend in Nov. is good.

MONKEY: Jillian will email Nancy Stryker to see if she can come to the
next Process meeting. And Sarah and Mary too since they said they
would help.

MONKEY: Jillian will email Meals a heads up about the maximum number
of meals the week of Oct 29 when FIC is here.

MONKEY: Becky will ask Debbi about the 9/17 community meeting (Rosh
Hashanah)     and if she recommends we move the community meeting.

MONKEY: Jillian will email Rod about the idea of increasing the fall
budget meetings to 120 minutes, and look into creating an agenda item
together. Last fall we just kept running out of time at 90 minutes.

MONKEY: Jillian will ask Meals about when their next meeting is and if
they'd be open to having a couple Process cmtee people, and maybe a CH
person come, to talk about these two agenda items: - a meals mandate,
and a more permanent TS work proposal.

Next season's meetings:

Idea to make the budget meetings back to 2 hours instead of 90 minutes
- has been on our cooler list - but not something we could do on our
own. Community agenda item? Also isn't there a meeting in the fall we
need to move?
Rosh hashanah: 2012:      September 16 (at sundown) - 18
Yom kippur: 2012:      September 25-26
Community meeting would be 9/17 in the current schedule. Who can we
ask if we should move it?
MONKEY: Becky will ask Debbi about 9/17 and if she recommends we move
the community meeting.

If we do want to move the Sept meeting, we should look at the 3rd
Wednesday instead, so 9/19, and email Work and Meals about it. And
perhaps bring a proposal with 2 parts, this date and also if the
community wants to make the budget meetings longer.

About increasing the budget meetings to 120 minutes - we should
probably work with budget cmtee on that.

MONKEY: Jillian will email Rod about the idea of increasing the fall
budget meetings to 120 minutes, and look into creating an agenda item
together. Last fall we just kept running out of time at 90 minutes.

This season's community meetings

Syndallas and Kendra have agreed to give up their alternative meeting
on June 6 so F&L can bring the CH loan proposal back twice before the
deadline.

The May 21 community meeting will also be F&L, about another issue to
be resolved.

June 18 will hopefully be consensus on the CH loan proposal so GO can
meet its loan deadline.

Who's facilitating when is still a bit up in the air but I'm sure will
work out.

Alternative meetings

We've had a nice increase in interest. Encouraging people to convene
gatherings/discussions any time if they wish and not wait for an
alternative meeting. And great if they want to wait as well. We can
preassign the fall.

2012 Skills and Thrills

F&L had said they would likely want some funds for a training. They've
been too busy with other items to focus on this. Process signed out CH
for the usual weekend in NOvember in case that works for F&L. Also
Process coudl do an additoinal conflict resolution training, as an
idea, if F&L only wants a few hours but not the whole thing. Also fine
if F&L wants the whole thing.
MONKEY: In JUNE Jillian will check in again with F&L about the latest
on their thoughts on doing a community weekend event in 2012 about
finance education, if the 2nd weekend in Nov. is good.

Cohosting FIC meeting with Sunward

Let's invite Nancy Stryker to the next Process meeting to talk about
cohosting the FIC. Sarah and Mary too since they said they would help.

Also good to plan early so we can have the maximum number of Great Oak
meals that week.

Housing - approx 10 people per community probably. Several will stay
at Elph and Jillian's.

Jillian has guest room signed out 10/29 through 11/4/12. Also game
room during the days on     10/30-11/1.

Esp since the Wednesday
meal (halloween) would probably just be pizza.

Status of mandates of various committees

This became a current GO topic in the early spring when Meals cmtee brought
the proposal to eliminate TS workers for Meals. This was consensed on
only for the summer.
DONE: Jillian will double check what is in the book of agreements for
that TS work agreement this spring, and make sure its in there if not
already. (it was not in there, Jillian entered it in.)

CH had said they need to work on their mandate.
Grounds has worked on theirs, brought it once and will bring it back in June.
Infoco has a new draft of theirs, can bring that soon.

Currently Meals is Rod, Nancy, and Debbi. The community needs a couple
things from Meals to come to community meetings this season: a
proposal to GO that TS is invited to eat but not work on a continuing
basis, and, a Meals mandate.

What's the best way to approach Meals about these two issues? Maybe to
ask to attend their next meeting?

Should we involve CH too? It is under the CH umbrella in a way, but
that is also where the unclarity comes from. Meals has a steering rep.
That indicates they are not under the CH umbrella really. Maybe
Process folks and someone from CH could come to the next meals
meeting.

MONKEY: Jillian will ask Meals about when their next meeting is and if
they'd be open to having a couple Process cmtee people, and maybe a CH
person come, to talk about these two agenda items: - a meals mandate,
and a more permanent TS work proposal.

Next Meeting

June 12. Syndallas asked about meeting at 6:30 that day, ok.
