4. Work season
MONKEY: Jillian can send a note to talk and infoco about facilition.
MONKEY: Becky will ask CRC about continuing and attending our next meeting.
Becky will be steering rep next season. Gail and Jim want to take a break.
Alternative meetings, did we want to come up wtih one topic ourselves?
Teaching about consensus process is one idea. Powerpoint of consensus
process could be a starting point. We can think about this. Or a refresher
about dealing with emotional content in meetings, has been suggested to us
too. Ask Laird if he had 90 minutes to do a refresher on dealing with
emotional content what would he do? Practicing helps people get over the
fear of what could happen.
MONKEY: Jillian will ask Laird if he had 90 minutes to do a refresher on
dealing with emotional content what would he do?
MONKEY: once we get process work info back Jillian will fill out
preassignments.
5. Garden proposal question
Heather asks, if the Garden being part of grounds is a consensed on
agreement to go in the Book of Agreements, or no?
At a community meeting we did say yes the community garden's annual budget
was part of grounds line items. So, meaning Garden group is a subcommittee
of grounds, right? But was it really a proposal and agreement, or just part
of the minutes.
Doesn't sound like an "agreement" for the book of agreements, this was not
a policy that the group consensed on. But this needs to be reflected
somewhere written and findable. I wonder if it belongs in the Grounds
mandate? (The way that Membership mandate covers Caring Cmtee, or Process
mandate covers CRC.)
MONKEY: Jillian will look at Grounds current mandate and Process can
discuss the idea with Grounds of adding info about garden group into their
mandate.
COOLER: Next year make the budget meetings back to 2 hours instead of 90
minutes.
----------
MONKEYS:
COOLER: Process will look at our agreements in the BOA and make a list of
what should be marked expired, and ask other committees to do so as well.
MONKEY: At announcements at every meeting just remind people, about writing
thank-yous and about putting pet photos on the thank you board. Also, a
reminder that if someone wants to appreciate something but doesn't know who
did it, they can post a thank you note on the thank you board.
COOLER: Jillian and Gail will write answers to the draft self-evaluation
questions. Then we'll pass it along to Infoco and let them do it. And then
see what we think of the questions and answers and if we want to pass it
along to other committees.
Ongoing MONKEY: set up at least one alternative meeting ahead of time: each
work season process could take ownership of one of the alternative meetings
and pull up some of these ideas that have come our way - we would make the
arrangements for someone to do a presentation or lead the item that had
been suggested.
MONKEY: Jillian can send a note to talk and infoco about facilition
MONKEY: Becky will ask CRC about ontinuging and our next meeting attend.
MONKEY: Jillian will ask Laird if he had 90 minutes to do a refresher on
dealing with emotional content what would he do?
MONKEY: once we get process work info back Jillian will fill out
preassignments.
