2. Monkey review

Monkeys from previous meetings:

Re-MONKEY: CRC will work on developing an agenda item that would help build
personal connections among GOers.

DONE: Jillian has checked with Sarah/Alicia/Infoco about this a couple
times. People seem to have moved on from it, don't have time to work on it.
Maybe if others are interested in making it happen they will step forward?
[Alicia and Sarah will work on finding an outside presenter (social worker?)
and schedule times for conversations of interested people about sexual
offender issues. Process and CRC are resources for support.]

Re-MONKEY: Process will bring a discussion item about Convenor jobs.

Re-MONKEY: Process will look at our agreements in the BOA and make a list of
what should be marked expired, and ask other committees to do so as well.

Re-MONKEY: Jillian will check back in with Rod about entering the agreements
from last season into the BOA.

COOLER: create powerpoint presentations for some community agreements, as a
different kind of refreshing policy moment?

DONE: Jillian will ask CRC what meeting this season would work for them, to
present about the Communication Pathway and the 4 Step Method for working
through emotional charge.

Re-MONKEY: For a December meeting? A request for the Pet Policy as a
refreshing policy moment. Minimum we could email it out to everyone and say
we'll review it at a meeting.

DONE: Jillian will check in with all presenters on the 11/13-11/14 Skills
and Thrills weekend to make sure the times are ok.

DONE: Then Jillian can put the grid of Skills and Thrills events on letter
size paper and put in people's cubbies - ask them circle what they plan on
going to and put it back in Jillian's cubby, so we can get some idea of
size.

DONE/INPROGRESS: Gail will organize lunch on Saturday 11/13, will not be
able to participate on Sunday. Thought to do a soup and bread and cheese and
fruit, Chocolate chip cookies are always good too! Instead of ordering in.

DONE: Jillian will ask GOers on the signup sheet for events for 11/13-14,
who will want childcare for what timeperiod? Then it might help us know if
Alan will need help. Might be hard for some parents to know, but if they're
really little they won't be going to the workshops so would need childcare.

DONE: Gail will check in with CRC about next work season.

DONE: Jillian will check in with current facilitators about next work
season.

Re-MONKEY: Jillian will ask Heather about a 1 year BOA assignment. Will
schedule a training session with her. And maybe Heather would be willing to
pick up the spring 2010 work that did not get done.

DONE: Jillian will email talk about leading alternative meetings.

DONE: Jillian will email Kate about leading a hoop house alt meeting.

Re-MONKEY: Processians to casually ask other GOers, if they would find it
useful to have community meeting handouts stored electronically as well as
the paper archive that process keeps, and if so if they have any ideas on
how and where they would want it.

MONKEYS from this meeting 11/9/10:

MONKEY: Jillian will email infoco again about choosing a convenor.
MONKEY: Jillian will invite CRC to our next meeting, just to hear how things
are going.
MONKEY: Gail will confirm with Alicia if she is able to do the community
meeting agenda item in December, review of the Communication Pathway and the
4-step method for working through emotional charge.
MONKEY: would be interesting to know what's next up on Willie's BOA
programming list. Jillian will ask him.
MONKEY: Jillian will fill out the Process job preassignments
MONKEY: Jillian will email talk with reminders about the weekend's events
and ask for any more attendance info.
MONKEY: Jillian will email presenters their final attendance estimates -
will take what we get and triple it?
MONKEY: Jillian will email Gail a shopping list for snacks/coffee
MONKEY: Gail will food shop, and will cook. Gayle and her friend are going
to help with lunch clean, yay!
MONKEY: Vincent will buy bagels and cream cheese at 9am on Sat and 11am on
Sun, 4 dozen on Sat, see how that is quantity-wise and adjust for Sun.
MONKEY: Jillian will have checks written for childcare etc
MONKEY: Jillian will let "talk" know about the stepping stone event, wear
messy clothes, and kids need parents.
MONKEY: all of us to be there at least a half hour early both days to help
with setup, make coffee etc.

COOLER: Labors of love, monthly list and prize drawing? Appreciations for
some workers at the end of each work season, take nominations? For jobs well
done within the system, and best labors of love or other contribution?


3. Next Season's Process jobs:

Process received Alt meeting requests/ideas for 3 out of the 4 slots:
Meals cmtee - Mary King - gluten free cooking
Kate: hoop house how-to info session
Catherine: update, on relations with non-GO kids
Preassign 3, leave one open

Process counted member, 1 open slot. We'll miss you Vince! Thanks for your
help with everything, your new perspectives really help.

We need a convenor for Infoco. Prefer it not be Jillian. Not great to have
the same convenor for Process and Infoco, its confusing for people.
MONKEY: Jillian will email infoco about choosing a convenor.

MONKEY: would be interesting to know what's next up on Willie's BOA
programming list. Jillian will ask him.

Would be good to get a report from CRC - are they getting requests? Get a
sense of how they're doing.

4. Skills and Thrills
Lots of little tasks we talked about here, they're up in MONKEYS and many
more last minute things will come up no doubt but community members will
pitch in.
About 1/3 of the community filled out attendance sheets so Jillian will
double the numbers and give that to presenters.
Set up on Saturday morning - let's set up chairs at 9:30am.
Vince will buy bagels on Sat and Sun.
Gail will buy the snacks.
Lunch will be inexpensive or free.


5. Next meeting will be 2nd Tuesday, Dec 14, 6:45pm.
