2. Monkey review

Monkeys from previous meetings:

Re-MONKEY: CRC will work on developing an agenda item that would help build
personal connections among GOers.

MONKEY: Vincent will check in with Sarah about this. Alicia and Sarah will
work on finding an outside presenter (social worker?) and schedule times for
conversations of interested people about sexual offender issues. Process and
CRC are resources for support.

Re-MONKEY: Process will bring a discussion item about Convenor jobs.

Re-MONKEY: Process will look at our agreements in the BOA and make a list of
what should be marked expired, and ask other committees to do so as well.

MONKEYS from this meeting 9/14/2010

MONKEY: Gail will buy some meeting supplies.
MONKEY: Jillian will email Amy H with the draft infoco mandate feedback.
MONKEY: Jillian will email Rachel about childcare for Nov 13-14.
MONKEY: Gail will check signout in book to make sure all rooms are signed
out for Nov 13-14.
MONKEY: Gail will add a lunch signup for Nov 13 to the meals system. We can
subsidize this so maybe think about something we don't get as often due to
expense. Indian food as long as its not spicy? Or as long as at least one
choice is not spicy.
MONKEY: Jillian will check back in with Rod about entering the agreements
from last season into the BOA.
MONKEY: Jillian will schedule time with Heather to go over Willie's
instructions on how to enter content in the BOA.

3. Supplies
We need some:
- pens - dry erase and non dry erase (low odor for both)
- masking tape
- 1 large paper pad
- dots? Gail will check.
MONKEY: Gail will buy the meeting supplies we need.

4. Revised Infoco Mandate

Infoco emailed us a draft and asked us to review.

It bounces back and forth between Agenda Planner and Agenda Point Person -
should be Agenda Point Person.

We schedule joint meetings as needed rather than once a month.

Its hard to know how to tighten it up with all the edits but it does seem a
bit redundant or a bit less crisp than it has to be. For example Support the
Agenda Planner is repeated. Suggestion to reorganize or tighten it up but
not critical.

Make sure it says somewhere that Infoco members are the ones who send the
agenda out to the community.

Under Agenda Point Person, the last responsibility, add Presenters to this
sentence:
"Send out tentative agenda to infoco and facilitators, ideally one week
before the community meeting"

Good idea to have both Process and Infoco be able to cancel meetings if not
enough business.

Objectives - seems like this will be out of date, perhaps a section that we
shoudl delete now. In the old days it was useful but dont think we need it
any more? That info could be part of an oral presentation of the proposal
perhaps.

We'd be happy to look at a future draft if you want to show it to Process.

MONKEY: Jillian will email Amy H with the draft infoco mandate feedback.

5. Skills and Thrills- Learning Something Practical

Nov 13 and 14, Sat/Sun.

Minutes will come out soon from Sunday's meeting, was a good meeting.

Process needs to deal with logistics, (food, childcare, supplies) and
publicizing it.

10-3 on Saturday 11/13
12-4 on Sunday 11/14

MONKEY: Jillian will email Rachel about childcare.
MONKEY: Gail will check signout in book to make sure all rooms are signed
out.
MONKEY: Gail will add a lunch signup. We can subsidize this so maybe think
about something we don't get as often due to expense. Indian food as long as
its not spicy? Or as long as at least one choice is not spicy.

A week from Thursday, 9/23 8pm is the next Skills and Thrills meeting.

How can we advertise it effectively? People will remember it better once we
have refined the weekend's events more.

6. Book of Agreements content

MONKEY: Jillian will check back in with Rod about entering the agreements
from last season.

MONKEY: Jillian will schedule time with Heather to go over Willie's
instructions on how to enter content in the BOA.

Discussion about content and where do Guidelines (things that aren't
official community agreements) go? Catherine working on the new member
packet needed to know where to put some info she had come across that did
not exist online.

In the long past there was no wiki, and folks have only begun using the wiki
more recently, so Process has sometimes put Guideline kinds of things in the
Book of Agreements. But seems like we should move toward the wiki now, IF
the guidelines are easy to find there.

7. Next meeting
Jillian will be away on 10/12 which is when we usually meet (2nd tuesday).
Just for next month, change to Thursday 10/21, 6:45-8pm.
