F&L Impromptu Meeting 2-2-10
Present: Cher, Aaron, Mary, Amy

F&L met specially to discuss the foreclosure situation. Elph was not able to attend. His recommendations were to get a lawyer (he had a suggestion for one), and to talk to Dave Butler.

On Monday 2/1, Cher talked to both Paul Conahan at Sunward and the attorney for the collection agency, and sent us a summary document of what she learned. We went over the document in detail to discuss and clarify.

Paul Conahan recommended three possible lawyers, one of whom Elph had suggested.

MONKEY: Cher will call the three lawyers to find out what their approach is and what their fees are to help us choose one. She will report back in the next couple of days.

We discussed several issues concerning the process and impact of the foreclosure, and identified questions we still need to get answered. We drafted a message to the community announcing the news of the foreclosure. Mary called Dave by phone and he agreed to review the draft before we send it out.

MONKEY: Mary will run the draft by Dave Butler for his edits and approval, and then Aaron will send it out as convener.

We will continue to be in contact by e-mail and will have our regular F&L meeting on Monday evening, February 8 at 8 p.m.
